Chapter 2-1 Achievement of YHK in treatment of liver disease

hepatitis C   fatty liver   liver disease   liver cirrhosis   NASH liver
There is no miracle drug on treatment of liver diseases in modern medicine. Even though the medical technology is developing day by day, the treatment on hepatitis c, (interferon therapeutics as base, assisted by antivirus drug Ribavirin) achieves much progress, it can not completely clear out hepatitis virus. It needs long time to get that goal.

Interferon therapeutics can only clear out about 30% of virus. And patients will suffer from pains caused by side effect. There is also some limitation on using of Ribavirin, such as “age under 65”, “weight above 40KG”, “no high blood pressure or diabetes” etc.

In addition, clinical adoption of virus propagation-controlled drug Lamivudine in treatment of hepatitis c was approved in 2000. But Lamivudine also can not completely clear out virus in short time. There are also some cases that the patients get worse after using Lamivudine.
